Sarah has been invited to launch her first book ‘The Tale of Timmy Lamb’ as part of the 2022 International AWESOME Arts Festival for Bright Young Minds. The launch will be taking place at The State Library of WA on 28th September 2022. The event is being hosted by Jenny Simpson, Awesome Festival Director and Alexandra Helens, Chair of Neurodiversity, BHP.
Sarah will read her story book for the first time publicly to an audience of adults and children. And will answer questions before and after her reading about what inspires her illustrations and her writing process is. ‘The Bush Tale of Timmy Lamb’ is the first story book in the Outback Bush Buddies collection. Sarah is hoping children will be taken on a journey of adventure, suspense and fun when they read her books. But most of all, she is hoping children will get to share in the joy she gets from the animals in her everyday life that her story book characters are based upon.
